Q: Who are the speakers?
A: Our speakers are updated on our program page as soon as they are
confirmed. So see the day's program and speakers, click on the
"Program Outline / Speakers" tab on the navigation bar at the left of
this page.
Q: How long are the Speaker sessions?
A: Each session is planned to be 45 minutes long.
Q: What is the end time for the day?
A: The Round Up is planned to conclude at 3:30 pm
Q: What are the meals? Are there items
available for restricted diets?
A: The buffet lunch has hot and cold items designed to satisfy a broad
range of tastes. While we cannot provide special meals, there
should be items that are appropriate for most diets.
Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: Tickets will be available in September. We will try to have
tickets available at the local AA, Al-Anon and Alateen meetings.
Tickets will also be available at the door on the day of the event.
Q: Who should attend?
A: Anyone who wants to hear stories of strength and hope through
recovery from problems involving Alcohol. You may be new to AA, or someone who has enjoyed the benefits of the program for many years.
Please feel welcome to invite a friend and/or family member.
Q: Will the sessions be recorded? Can I
obtain recorded copies of the sessions?
A: Yes, we will be recording the speakers throughout the day.
Copies will be available during the day and immediately after the
sessions.
Q: Who is on the committee and what groups do
they belong to?
A: The Mississagua Fall Round Up Committee is a diverse, volunteer
team with members representing AA, Al-Anon and Alateen.
Q: Why do I have to pay to attend?
A: The Mississagua Fall Round Up is a special event, not a
regular AA meeting. Costs for Events and Conferences are
paid through registration fees.
